There are a number of different fare types on offer, depending on how long you will be away for and how much flexibility you require. If you want to travel for a quick weekend getaway and know you won’t be making changes to your bookings, then the Web Saver fare offers the best rate. If you are travelling for business and plans are subject to change, then a Fully Flexible fare would be better suited to you. Each fare type comes with its own set of fare rules.

Departure tax exemptions for select passengers from Trinidad & Tobago Seniors aged 60 years and over, and children under five, who are resident or citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, who use their national passport for travel will be exempt from paying the Passenger Service Charge (KT), which is the Trinidad and Tobago departure tax. If you wish to make an online booking with LIAT, then you should: 1. Book the flights, put the confirmed reservation on hold and then send a scanned copy of your passport photo page to reservations@liat.com so that nationality and date of birth can be verified. The Reservation Agent will remove the tax from the record and you will be able to apply payment. 2. If the booking has been completed and you have paid the departure tax, you may request a tax refund within 90 days of the booking by contacting reservations@liat.com |
