ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, December 27, 2013 - The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of LIAT (1974) LTD have received with regret the news of the loss of life, devastation, and human suffering caused by Tuesday’s torrential rain in St. Vincent, St. Lucia and Dominica.
“It was with a deep sense of sadness that all of us at LIAT learnt of the devastation and tragedy at a time when people the world over were celebrating or preparing to celebrate Christmas with family, friends and loved ones,” Acting Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Julie Reifer-Jones said in a message to the Prime Ministers of the three countries.
“As you deal with this tragedy, please be assured that all those who were affected are in our thoughts,” Mrs. Reifer-Jones added.
