ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, October 07, 2012 – The Management of LIAT (1974) Ltd wishes to advise its customers and the general public that it was forced to suspend flights into and out of Antigua due to the temporary closure of the V.C. Bird International Airport.
The airport was closed shortly before 4:00 pm today following an unfortunate accident there.
The authorities have advised that the airport has now reopened.
LIAT wishes to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
