ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, September 22, 2010 – Regional airline LIAT announces the resumption of flights to and from Canouan.


The Company suspended services to the island on August 26 due to regulatory requirements. The airport’s fire service has now been returned to Category 5 status allowing LIAT’s aircraft to operate there.


Since 2009 LIAT has operated flights into Canouan and presently operates services into that island on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
