Home > Canouan

Referred to as “the Heart of the Grenadines” the breath-taking island of Canouan is tranquilly nestled in the middle of the Grenadines.  Canouan is 110 miles east of Barbados, and measures 3.2 sq miles.

The main town, Charlestown, lies on one of its longest beaches at Charlestown Bay; which is very popular for swimming and snorkeling. Canouan boasts some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, with long ribbons of powder-white sand, wide shallows and exquisite coral reefs.  In 2008, Godahl Beach, Canouan, was awarded #5 by the Travel Channel, in The World’s 21 Sexiest Beaches.

Canouan offers more than beaches, such as the 900-foot Mount Royal which dominates this sparsely inhabited tropical isle.
